Joe Smysor was hired as the Youth Pastor at Cornerstone in February of 2011. Joe grew up in Lawrence and attended Lawrence High.  He has served as a Summer Missionary through the North American Missions Board.  Before joining Cornerstone Joe worked for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in Kansas City, MO.  Joe married his wife Gala in 2010 and they recently moved to Lawrence.  Gala recently graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and works as an Occupational Therapist at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
